You can cauterize with your rifle barrel after about 10 rounds! The only thing the "dry" heat does for you is make you forget that you're dehydrating at a tremendous rate. We got a break yesterday - only 98, today it's back to triple digits! Why do I live on the surface of the sun?

I here ya....For the 13 years I spent in TExas it never failed. Wake up and walk out to the car and sweat your ass off at 6am because it is 97f. Drive 4 miles to work and your ac is still trying to cool your ass down.....I miss Texas;however, i dont miss the heat.

My house was 88F in the interior last night............AT 10:00. According to the cool little thermometer, it peaked at 100F yesterday. Running the AC 24/7 is not feasible........unless I quit paying my power billz. DF, Ill have to tell you about the time I met Willie Nelson at a Waffle House. Well, Almost Willie.

It is REALLY hot when: The dog chases the cat, and they are both walking... Shady places to sit at the park become battle scenes... Only the covered positions on the firing line are used, so the AK guys are shooting them benchrest....

Weird that one of those wishes for dry heat? I love humid heat, I couldn't get enough of it when I was in Austin last. I was there during a heat wave in 98' and I loved every second of it! I can't wait to get to Houston July 16th.!

Amen brother. I just took a business trip to the east coast, and it is amazing how fast you start dumping all the water you store living in the desert...
