Kinda funny, most everyone I know would have me pegged at the far right! [:P]

Edit: Pic didn't show up, so I'll just tell you that I'm dead center about 5 bars up towards authoritative.

My chart looks just like Kbaker's

Edited to add: I think the test and its interpretations by the testers is utter bullshit. Too  many questions forced me to choose an answer I didn't agree with by omitting the correct answer as a choice.

It is no shock to me at all as I have been observing the increasing trend to neo-conservativism over the past decade.

I agree with gus, the test did not provide adequate choices.  Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that there is a big difference between a liberal and a libertarian?

How do you figure that the liberal democrats are to the right of center and below the authoratarian/libertarian line?

Did you just make up that second chart?  It appears that you did.

You better look at his chart again as to where he placed the liberal demcrats.  That's puts them right about where you are.

You really need to can that 'neo-con' bullshit that you apply to anyone who disagrees with you, which is just about everyone.

Right next to Milton Friedman.

To be truly accurate of modern political thought they would have to have an "I don't care" option.

BTW, some of the questions were pretty specious, such as the first one: If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations. I feel the interests of the corporation are a reflection of the interests of society.

Its not really to be taken too seriously guys.  I think it has as much credibility as a "Redbook" or "Teen Magazine" test to see how faithful the girl's BF's are.

I put it up for fun, my guess is that the creators answered the questions about certain political figures and applied them to our answers.

Don't post how much of a bunch of BS it is, just take it or click the next thread!

The questions were not really accurate questions.  For example, some things I personally disagree with I would NOT legislate.

Know what I mean?

More Libertarian than I thought...

Edited to say...  no way today's liberal democrats are on the right-side economically.  That is a bunch of crapola.  They may be more Libertarian, but no way on the right economically.

Almost dead center (L/R .5 and A/L .87).

I don't put much stock in this particular poll.  Too few questions and too few answers  for a meaningful test.  If I want my money back out of Social Security, does that make me a Socialist?  I don't think so.  Libertarian has little or nothing to do with the party of that name, but only on how much control the government can exercise over your life (i.e. big government = "good or bad"). It doesn't take much to figure out that being on the right on one issue (political, social or economic) doesn't mean you will always be to the "right" on every issue that comes up.
