Kindred was based upon the RPG Vampire the Masquerade. If you buy games on GOG, they sometimes put the PC RPG Bloodlines on sale. Best game if you want to play a Vampire.

Saw a movie a few years ago call The revenant. Interesting take on a vampire like condition.

And not the decaprio movie.
