I used to shoot Fioochis before I started reloading, and that is some hot stuff in terms of velocity. Fioochi is the Winchester/Remington of Italy. But I think European 9mm Para is a lot hotter than the USA manufacture variety. It is said that European 9mm Para pistols are built sturdier to handle the hotter loads.

They do make some oddball and old chamberings that others dont. But I wouldn't be suprised if its loaded to military specs.

9MM NATO is specced at +p+. This is what the German military originally issued. This is what all militaries now use. This is why your Luger works best with +p+.
US 9MM is often slower. |

I shoot Fiocchi 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch rifled slugs this past hunting season. Grouped beautifully at 100 yards out of 20 inch smoothbore slug barrel. Felt like a pretty hot load as well.
I'm fairly impressed with Fiocchi. |

I've been singing the praises of Fiocchi 45ACP 230GR ball for quite awhile now. It burns super clean and that in expecially nice in pistol caliber upper.
Neither of my Glocks liked the 40 S&W loads, but they haven't been cleaned in years so that may have something to do with it. [;)] |

That's one tough monkey.
I, too, have had very good performance with Fiocchi 9x19 and .45ACP. Very clean, powerful hitters. A lot nicer than the "white box" varieties, at not a lot of cost. Seems like it was was cheaper than US factory premium ammo. Ask for it by name. I got my last batch from CTD. Don't know if they've still got it or not. |

Ive shot fiocchi at steel plates(falling and poppers) with no ill effects from 10yards on out. Quality, Heavy hitting ammo! Use .40 and .45.

We have alot of mexican migrant workers around here with the orchards and all. One day while in the shop a couple came in and wanted some 9mm nad 38 super(their perferred cal). I showed them what was there and offerd some aguila in 9mm, thinking that they would love the mexican stuff. He stepped back about 3-4 feet waving his hands saying "No Aguila, is bad" 2 times. I was laughing so hard he almost didnt buy the other stuff.. Not really a Fiocchi ammo topic, but I couldnt resist.

The Fiocchi .40 I tried out was definitely hot as it was loaded to the major power level (170gr@1000+ fps).

Cheap but good for the common calibers, but $$$$ for the oddball stuff....I've never been able to find Fiocchi 7.62x39Nagant for less than $35 a box/50. I really wish Wolf or Barnaul would start loading it....it's not like the Russians would have to figure it out from scratch. |

I love Fiocchi .357 mag!

I've had great results with the Fiocchi too, in both .45 and 9mm. Never seem to be able to find it in .40 around here for some reason.
