It's nothing real special but I like it alot. I picked up a 2003 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster. It's my first new ride ever. This bike is a whole lot of fun. Needs some customizing but I don't think I could have bought a better bike for the money. It was acctually cheaper then some all 600 crotch rockets I looked at. I have now logged 110 miles on her. Now all I have to figure out is how to transport my AR on it without freaking out the neighborhood.

sweet, man. the new harleys are the heat. totally new beast. i had a sportster (blue) made the last year before AMF bought harley (1976? somebody correct me if i'm wrong)can't remember for sure. rode great but had to keep it all tightened up. the new engines and trans are way smoother. bought it from a guy in hickory NC and rode it to jacksonville NC same day. little bead on the seat upholstery did a number on my can. by the time i passed thru kinston, i was riding with my foot on the tank, laying over, etc. thats the only thing i changed. sold it in college.

There is a website out there with instructions on how to make a not-so-long case for an M4 length rifle out of an ordinary toolbox. You could strap that to the back with para cord.

darealickt Only Prob I have an AR with a 20" barrell. I was thinking maybe wrapping it in some sort of material and straping it to the front forks like a sleeping bag. I could just sling it on my back. This would be legal as long as it wasn't loaded but I think I would get alot more attention then I want.

Another chance to shamelessly plug my bike. Just got through a 1400 mile trip to N.O. and back today. A very wet ride to say the least.

BMW makes a shotgun mount for police bikes (http://www.wattco.net/infopdf/bmwmounts.pdf). Maybe somebody makes a ar-15 mount. Even tho cruisers arent my thing, I like the 'cow bike'.
