Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Just read a great book "War of the Rats"

It's the story of the snipers at the battle of Stalingrad, and is the true story behind the movie "Enemy at the gates".
The duel is between the head of the Russian sniper school and the German Super Sniper sent to kill him.
I  haven't seen the movie, but the book was fantastic.

Yes, an excellent read. Check out "The End of War" by Robbins as well regarding the race for Berlin.

Good book, but there is considerable debate in the military sniper community about whether it is a true story or not.
