I know----> AMMOMAN. However, he no longer shipps to my "commie" state. I tried KYimports(308 all they have instock is "Indiaammo" and talon=milsurp) and SOG (308indiaammoonly), but neither has what I'm looking for, these are the 2 principle suppliers I've used before besides ammoman, bless his heart[;)]. I need some "nice" .308. I'm not looking for cheap stuff, this is for 100yrd 1"(orsmaller)[;)] groups in my new tack driver. The surp I've used will only give me 1"1/2-2"groups. I've "heard" M852 is great stuff but I can't find any anywhere. I'd like to find IMI match also. I'd like to see what this baby likes[:D].........can you guys help ? I'd think so!

I usually get mine at gun shows in Houston. mostly because they have great prices and I can save on the shipping. A word of caution....Know what the market rate is before going to the gun shows. The prices aren't always best.

I've gotten good deals on ammo at Houston gunshows. 7.62 x 39 Silver Bear - 500 rds for $38; SA battle packs for $40. Still, Old_painless is right...know what the market rate is.

Why won't ammoman ship to New Jersistan?

Seems NJ would be a small enough state to take a road trip and stock up. Try georgiaprecision.com and the Black Hills ammunition. They are a board sponsor and deserving of our support and their prices aren't too bad. I usually get ammo at gunshows and at a local store that has pretty good sales. I use Eric when doing mail order.

I usually go to the gunshows to get my ammo, because they usually have the best deals.

Aim Surplus has SA 308 in stock. $147 per 980 rounds in battle packs, shipping included. Great ammo, BTW. Edited to add: Oops. Didn't see the part where you wanted only non-milsurp ammo.
