I've pretty much come to the conclusion, I'm never going to be "PC" around a homosexual ever again. I grew up in an area that was known for being liberal on the topic. Fags never used to have a self esteem problem. If someone didn't like them, they'd go on with their lives like anyone else.
Now they get up in your face, about how you hurt their feelings, and make them feel their values aren't as good as yours. Where the hell were these "PC" attitudes when I grew up taking crap for my father being asian. Next freak that preeches "PC" behavior to me, I vow to spit right in their hypocritcal face. |

Two years ago I was in England on business, staying in the Oxford area. I decided to go see London one Saturday. I'm taking this double decker bus tour and the tour guide is explaining the history of the sights we're seeing.
Then he said something about how wonderful it was going to be to have more than one queen in town. "Errr???" Then he starts babbling about the annual gay pride mardi gras they were having that day. FIFTY TWO BLOODY WEEKENDS IN A YEAR AND THOSE PEOPLE HAVE TO PICK MY SATURDAY IN LONDON???????!!!!!!!! Hyde Park was immediately scratched off my list. That was Sodomy Central, the Ground Zero of... well, that stuff. The Macallan wrote: How utterly shallow a person must be to gain "pride" from their sexual inclinations. How true. I don't go around getting in people's faces yelling, "I'm hetero and proud!" My personal life is just that- personal. They say what two adults choose to do in the privacy of their bedroom is nobody else's business. Fine. Keep it there. It was a booger trying to see some sights while avoiding their "activity." A couple times I came up out of the subway, looked around, and went back to go a couple blocks further away to get away from them. And somebody needs to explain to these people that whistles are not musical instruments.

If they want people to stop disliking them, then why don't they stay out of peoples faces and go back in the closet where they belong. I don't want to be walking down the street with my young children and see homos making out. GO AWAY, FAR AWAY. Yea they have rights but what about mine, not to have to view disgusting acts?
I once booked a family trip to Disney world then found out it was "gay pride week". I quickly rebooked that trip. I was pretty pissed that the person taking reservations didn't warn me. Had to find out a week later from a friend. That would have really sucked. Can you imagine what that vacation would have been like?(short-real short) What bothers me the most is why can't we have a "Straight week" or "Husband and wife only week ? NOOOO can't have that because that would be discrimination. |

This is one of the main fronts in the continuing culture war in our country. It's a battle for what the USA is going to be for our kids. I saw the videotape of the church in SF where the homosexuals were beating on the doors screaming, "Give us your children! Send out your children!" That scene brought out the papa bear in me.
Every time I vote, every letter to the editor of the paper or communication with my folks in Congress, every moral/social debate I engage in is centered around one thought: What kind of country am I making for my kids to live in? |
