I read the book awhile back and havent seen the movie, is it anygood?  I see they have it on DVD now and thought I might add it to the collection.

Yeah, it's pretty good for the time it was made (1979) and for the medium (network television). I think if it were made today it would be a little more intense. Very good flick.

Yeah, it's a good movie. It has to be Ted Danson's first movie role. James Woods is a brilliant actor. This movie was pretty early in his carreer and his portrayal of Powell was great. The book was better but the movie is worth seeing.
