Don't know if anybody saw this story yesterday.

This guy (the homeowner) is one of my wife's co-workers.

The full details are pretty scary. The guy doesn't currently own a gun, but he said that it probably wouldn't have mattered because he was so confused by the whole situation - half asleep.

He battled this dude hand-to-hand for five minutes, and then threw him out of the house, only to realize "holy shit, I need to get this guy" and then ran out of his house covered in blood in a pair of boxers trying to chase the guy down.

The guy was holding a frying pan! that would make an excelent target with the ol' Remington 870.  Talk about a re-active target.

It was actually a wok. No joke.

Their 2 yr old stood there and watched the whole thing.
