I just bought this shotgun but I'm not sure exactly what it is. Looks like the HK 512 but has no model or stamping as such.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Its an auto, w/shot diverter, threaded bbl, mag ext, push button safety near trigger, &  walnut stock. I don't have pics...yet.

Sounds right.

Hope you didn't pay too much for it.  Some people price those as a collectors piece, but to some folks, it's just another shotgun.  That being said, the prices range from reasonable to 'what are you smoking!?!?.'

BTW, I don't know about the markings, but these were made by Franchi, so I would imagine they would be stamped as such, or with the 'Made in Italy' at the very least.

The reciever is stamped Franchi, and there are 4 small stamps on the front underside of the reciever.
1.The letters "AN" with a rectangular box around the letters
2. The letters "PSF" with 2 small round "leaves" over the top of the letters
3.The word "FINITO" with a small stamp I can't make out above it.
4.A small shield with cross arms and something else I can't make out above it.

I emailed Franchi too.
