Wasn't even born the last time Dodge won there. Last Dodge win was "The King" Richard Petty himself over a quarter of a century ago.

Ryan Neman won the race from the poll position.

My congradualtions to last years rookie of the year.

damn terry is starting to piss me off, he's getting soooooooo close now, he needs to damn well win one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am just damn glad Jeff Gordon didn't win this.

I hope he has a body guard, Sterling Marlin is looking to have a "talk" with him after Gordon punted him for the second race in a row.

Yep...Sterling might have a boot-to-ass talk with pretty boy. [:D]

I just hate that all these "kids" are taking up all the ink. Where did they come from? Better question...how long will they stay? It seems they hit the wall every other week.

Newman drove a good race. His power steering went out so he finished the race without it. He's had a few DNFs this year so I'd say he was about due to win one, but then Rusty Wallace is about due to win one too. [:D]

The "kids" are here to stay. Remember, they were all rookies at one time. In fact, Darrell Waltrip was a rookie in 1975, the last time a Dodge won at Dover.

You're cheatin' Bigbear...you been hanging around at NASCAR.com and getting the history on DW??? I think the "kids" are beneficiaries of the team concepts. By themselves, they could not get this done. I just wish DJ/Rusty/Burtons/Sterling/Gordon whoevers would at least show up.

I'm watching the races again...and keeping an eye on Junior. He's good...real good. He will be around for a long time also.

Isn't the winner of Nascar races picked before the actualu start?

I thought Nascar was like the WWF, kind of a soap opera for (southern)gear heads.

Naw Naked-Gunman, DW said it himself today during the race, that he won his first race in Nashville in 1975 when Richard Petty won at Dover. Sometimes I not only watch the races, I listen to the commentary too. [:D]

Regarding the young guns on the circuit, these guys are good, real good. Yeah they have team support but they share information and their cars are mostly set up the same. They still have to drive them. Look at Kenseth and Busch for example. They beat their old pro team-mate Mark Martin every week.

Bobby Labonte's doing well lately. Rusty Wallace and Sterling Marlin too. Don't ever count those guys out just because they got a few more miles on them.
