Is that a propriatary frame they use?

That would have to be a contender, just not in stainless.

One thing I hope will come out after the AWB expires is that the makers will decide on a Standard for double wide 1911 mags, so you can buy mags anywhere like with the single stack Goverment Models.

Whos magazines do they use, do you know? Their own design, Para Ordinance, or Caspian?

I notice the one visable in the stainless over aluminum gun has ridges stamped into the body so the cartriges don't touch the mag body except in 4 small places and their is room for sand to fall through. Good feature.

They are their own design. There is another company called SV they look the same.

Add the oversize magazine chute and I'm happy.

DAO option
decocker
barrel hood to frame lockup
left/right switchable magazine release
no barrel link
no pinned on plunger tube
dovetailed sights
no barrel bushing
no grip safety

In otherwords, the usual characteristics of a run-of-the-mill modern autoloading pistol.

A select fire switch would be nice.

Well if any of those features actually increased the performance of the gun they would be included. However, none of them have been proven to make any difference in either accuracy or reliability, so they wont be.

The Sti guns use their own mags.  This gun has been around for a long time. I have had mine for more then 6 years.  The Sti makes the Para look like a kids toy.  The only thing I with I had on my Sti was the rail system. These guns are cheap but you get what you pay for.
