I'd buy a used Buick LeSabre and use the spare cash on guns and ammo! If you really need to spend the whole wad buy a new Buick Park Avenue.

I second the maxima or a 4 door accord V6. Either with a six speed manual tranny would be an excellent car. Performance, reliabilty, and nice rides all the way around.
Personally, the new Subaru WRX STi. [;)]
But then again, we also have a '01 Jetta GLX and will soon have a Tahoe or Suburban, and maybe a beater p/u for new farm chores. If you want something in the entry level luxury class. I would look at the Lexus IS300 or the BMW 3 series. The Maxima is now OFFICIALLY fugly... |
How bout the 2004 Grand Prix.. It's been redesigned, and will be availiable only in the GT/GTP (supercharged) series for '04.

Acura TLs
Fast, great handling, reliable(it's a Honda), comfortable and has a fabulous sound system. It's a bargain in that price range. I bought a 2002 for my wife a year ago and have 22k miles on it. She loves it and I enjoy whenever I'm driving in it. |
I kinda like the Pontiac Bonneville. guts, comfort and style.

Infiniti G35
Nissan Maxima Acura TL-S Subaru WRX STI Accord EX-L V-6 Lexus IS300 Volvo S60 I'd lean toward the Infiniti or Acura unless you want a hard core road rocket, then get the STI |
I second the Maxima or the WRX, nice cars. A Honda Accord would be nice too. Can you get the Mitsubishi Lancer for 32k?
Quoted: What about the G35 Infiniti? View Quote Yeah....I love those cars. The coupe is a ton better looking, but it's hard to argue with a ton of luxury with a nice stout engine. One of my co-workers drives one -- she loves it. She wished she had waited and gotten the coupe and the manual. |
I'd buy a used Impala SS for $15,000-$16,000 and use the rest of the cash on engine mods.
I have a Lexus ES300, very fast, smooth and quiet, also get about 27 MPG, highly recommend.
Maxima is a POS. I had a 2000 that was less reliable than my old '69 Mustang. I'd go for a used Town Car, big, comfortable and fast.

A bit more but worth the extra $ (about $2000)
2003 Mercury Marauder [url]http://www.mercuryvehicles.com/vehicles/marauder/gal_ext.asp[/url] |

Why? You're not seriously going to drop $32K in cash on a CAR are you? I earn a lot of money, but the only way I would ever drop that kind of cash on something that depreciates at the rate of a car, is if I had about $10 mil laid up in the portfolio -- which I don't.
Soooo... it begs back to my first question. Why? [rolleyes] |

There's a reason they're pulling the plug on that thing after a year and LESS THAN A HUNDRED sold. hehe As for my suggestions: BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Saab 9-3, Cadilac CTS, Subaru WRX STI, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Volvo S60 (I think) otherwise the S40, NICE VW Jetta and through in the rest of the Japanese cookie cutter mobiles. Unfortunately IMHO there are no decent American made sedans. |

I was out looking at new cars with the sister, making sure she didnt get scammed, and I checked out a new Monte Carlo SS. Those things look cake!

I bought my wife one about 8-9 months ago to replace her 12 yr-old Honda Accord. Love the car. Great power, great handling. Despite having TWICE the horsepower of the Accord, it gets the same mileage on a trip, since the engine with the 5-speed auto just loafs along at highway speed. If it holds up like her old car, it will be a great bargain. |
Maruader? Are you kidding? Big ass slow piece of shit.
IS300? For the money there are lots of cars out there that are faster and nicer. The is300 is behind the times, as it was the day it debuted. |

Miz LWilde drives a 2001 Infiniti I30 and she loves it. The new I35 is even nicer.

I'd rather take the WRX STi and have the dealer swap out the standard WRX spoiler and wheels for the gold wheels and picnic table that it comes with. Anybody know if the EVO is coming with the driver controlled center diff? I found out that the Scoobie is coming with one - DSSC. Would love to make it more rear bias than 50% for the times when I'm on the pavement. |

If $32K is your total drive-out including your tax, title and license, then you're looking at a car with a price of around $28K.
My recommendations: Audi A4 Acura TL BMW 323i (but I don't think you can get one for that price) [bold]Infiniti G35[/bold] Yeah baby! At that price, do not get a Mitsubishi product, a Subaru product, a Toyota product, a Honda product, a Mazda product, and sure as hell don't get a GM product! Do NOT get the Pontiac Grand Prix. Eewww... BTW, nothing screams White Trash louder than a Camaro or Trans Am Firebird. If you drive one of those, you are required to have a mullet and a big fat wallet sticking half-way out of the rear pocket of your Wrangler jeans. |
Third on the Lexus, outstanding vehicle with great HP.
Kind of partial to a Chrysler 300M as well. More room and not as abtentious. |
Quoted: Nissan Maxima View Quote I second that. I bought a 2003 Altima and love it, but that new Maxima is badassed. If I had to do it over, I would have opted for the Maxima. |

View Quote [>:/] I'd get a used VR-4 or a new STi or a new EVO before ever getting: An A4......S4, hell yeah, but not at $32000 and NOT used -- too many turbo failures. A 323? Please...[rolleyes] I guess if you like slow in your cars, then that is for you. 330xi, maybe, but again not at $32000. Acura TL? You mean the Honda Accord on 'roids? Drives like brick. The Type-S CL is sweet, but that is two doors. The G35 is a kick ass car, and the value is excellent, but I guess it all depends on what segment you want to be in. I like fast and utilitarian....I have the WRX. |
