Union Army Maj. Gen. John A. Logan poses in this undated 19th century photo. Logan, known as the 'Father of Memorial Day,' ordered in 1868 that: 'The 30th day of May is designated for the purpose of strewing with flowers or otherwise decorating the graves of comrades who died in defense of their country...' to honor the nearly 500,000 lives lost in the U.S. Civil War. It was finally made a national holiday by Congress in 1971, to remember all U.S. war dead. (AP Photo)

Oh my!!! Look at the hole in the end of the barrel...it must be a ½" or so. [;)]

Oh well, no wonder the SF dude is pointing the thing at the camera man. Look at his name....I wonder what else the camera man was doing? Maybe he needs to find a better crowd to hang out with.

Thanks for the pics Johnny_Reno. I enjoy them everyday.

A damaged semitrailer is shown trapped under a collapsed bridge as investigators work the site Saturday, May 24, 2003, after a different trailer crashed Friday night into the bridge's center support columns on Interstate 80 about three miles west of Big Springs, Neb. Two other eastbound semitrailers were also damaged. Gov. Mike Johanns said authorities estimate the section of the nation's busiest highway will reopen Monday, with crews working round-the-clock.
