I can load an avatar sometimes and sometimes I can not,  does anyone know if the avatar changer is being turned off to help site speed ???

No. The avatars are hosted on a server removed from the site servers, and it occasionally has glitches that (obviously) only affects the avatars, but not the site.  If that server were shut down, it would not affect site speed, as it is remote.  I am computer stooopid, so this is the best explanation I can give. [:)]

Thanks for the info BK1, I just wanted to know if I was doing anything wrong on my end. The avatar pic below is only 9,55 KB's and less than the 80X60 requirment so it should load.
