Teen Allegedly Tries To Sell Pot To Sheriff -- Twice

NAYTAHWAUSH, Minn. -- A Minnesota teenager allegedly asked the wrong guy if he wanted some pot.

Mahnomen County Sheriff Brad Athman said he was riding his motorcycling while off duty when someone tried to sell him some weed -- not once, but twice.



The sheriff pulled over and called a deputy who arrested the 17-year-old. The teenager was a little out of joint. Athman alleges that the guy was very upset when he realized he had asked the sheriff if he was looking to buy dope.
