Eleven pre-bans - 8 Colt, 3 Bushmaster.[:D]
But I've been working on my collection for longer than some of you have been alive. Got my first AR-15 SP1 back in Shreveport, in 1974, for the then-incredible sum of $395.00!! Which, when computed for inflation from that date til 2000, comes to $1,480.00 in today's dollars. Don't EVEN ask about AKs, I kinda went overboard with them. Eric The(armed)Hun |

I currently own one. Have owned 3 and one more on the way :)

Lots of past experience with Colt pre-bans.
Have had a BM A3 fluted Dissipator for about 1.5 yrs and am very impressed with it. Of course I also have the LEGP on the way. Currently trying to figure out how to justify buying another LEGP. Basically I love em' |
One Bushy AK shorty. I plan to buy another, but will probably be a .308.
I own 2.5, a bushy preban w/16in flattop & 20in A2 uppers, and a just put together postban bushy with a DPMS flattop 16in super bull upper.
I also have a GALIL ARM in 5.56, two mini 14's one stainless and one blue GB. My 5.56 cents, Doug |
i own only one bushmaster and its just a basic
carbine modal, and i like it the way it is! i sold a preban Eagle arms Ar15; other than that i like my bushmaster. ive sold off a larger collection of my rifle's now i have only 13 guns to my name. i did regret selling a russian SKS that i owned should of never did that but oh well. |

Quoted: my first gun ever,is my new M4 carbine. Made by a former Army gunsmith friend of mine,it's has a RRA lower, and the rest is all high quality DPMS parts.Has a 16" HB-barrel,a3 flattop, colt handle, large M4 handguards,Vortex muzzle brake/flash hider, along with some of his personal refinements (he knows EVERYTHING about the AR,inside and out) If I did'nt buy this sweet one,I would have probably ended up buying a mass-produced BushMaster. Not that there's anything wrong with that. View Quote If he truly knows everything, or even anything about the AR, he should know that ALL RRA receivers are post-ban, and the Vortex is a felony waiting to happen... |

Darn right I own one...pardon the quality, webcam is my only outlet of on-the-spot photographs: [:\]
-Colt MT6550 20" A2 -Harris Bipod -Tasco "Custom Shoppe" 15-60x56mm -Cheap, plastic, Eagle brand mag (gotta start somewhere) ...and hopefully an AR15.com LEGP within the next month or two. Not too bad for a poor, deprivated college kid [:D] Jewbroni~ |

I own one bushy M4gery preban and it sure is sweet!!!!!!!!

Hello,
At one time i had seven , did some trading but ready to add some more !! TargetShooter2 |

I am forbidden to own any firearms after a series of ill-timed accidental discharges.
Fortunately, that does not preclude me from owning my very own bunker, complete with swanky radiation suits, a hangered dirigible and a Zalinski Dynamite Gun, which uses compressed air to fire a 200 lb charge of dynamite to a range of 900 yards. To be honest, I don't like revealing the layered missle defense system and the fleet of atomic powered Arktika-class ice breakers to every Dick Jane and Spot on the internet. |
Don't own one! You do not have to have one to hang out here , do you???
I have two stripped receivers which I never had the money to build up. Does that count?
I own one and carried one for uncle sugar in the early 70s.
IMHO it really doesn't matter wether they own one or not. I've seen plenty of guys in the military and at the range with one, that wasn't sure which end the round came out. |
One postban 20" A2 bushmaster
One preban M4gery built on Oly lower Trying to get more guns as money allows... |
Jeez Jewbroni...
That scope is almost as long as your rifle! What did you do, electrical-tape a paper towel roll and to the end of your scope to give it that "snipy-look?" Just joshin' you bro.[:P] Looks like you need some decoration on your b-room wall though, how's about this... http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=18798#lastPost |

The truth? Who in the hell would even believe me....
That's funny, riddler.[:D] You've probably got the "black rifle" addiction worse than me.[:\] |

16" HBAR, thinking about a Bushmaster some time in the future.

Quoted: I am not an expert on ARs, having said that, I did carry one for Uncle Sam ( 35 yrs. ago ) and I do own a couple now. Many of the posts on here show a total lack of knowledge from people who talk as if they own and shoot ARs every day. anyone else agree ? View Quote I'm surprised to hear you were issued an AR. I would have thought at M16 or M16A1 would have been what you were issued 35 years ago. I do not own any AR's. I own several Sporters, Match Targets, MFR's, EA-15's, XM15-E2's, ICR98's, & a CARA3 Hbar Elite, but no AR's. |

What's an AR again? [}:D]
-Troy <-- Behind the lines in the PRK, for now. |

I own an armalite, but I AM A BEGINNER and I am not worried at all what you think about that. I am too old to worry what others who are more knowledgable than I think about what I know and don't know about AR rifles...I am also saving for an M1A1 but thats another story.

The Lab has been sporterized so I really don't need more AR's! She prefers shotguns.

2 AR's 1 is a Bushmaster DCM, 1 a Bushmaster lower and CLE Space Gun upper, 3 M1 Garands, 2 Springfield 03's. Assorted 22's, shotguns and pistols. Safe is getting full.
Proud owner of a picture of a Ruger "six shooter" my wife just presented to me today as my birthday gift. She didn't want to put it on her permit first that's why I got a picture. |
Got mine 13 days before Kalifornia outlawed them! But I escaped, so who knows what might lie in the future.
Don´t have a digital camera, yet. This is exactly what my BM M4A3 looks like.

Own one right now: Bushmaster lower with DPMS 20" bull upper. A real prarie dog dusting machine....
I'll be up to 2.5 AR's when my LEGP and Cav Arms lower come in. |
I had six, till the C3 bug got me. Now it's this, and some uppers.

I don't own one, but I am married to a EA lower with A1 upper! We will never part!

A better question might be "How many ARs do the people on here really own?". I have a couple around here for when I get tired of the M1A recoil. Seriously though, sometimes the M1A actually stays home.
No AR15's.
...just four M16's. |

Own two,
Both Bushmaster, both with all the evil features. |

I only own 1 Armalite M15A2 right now (and other stuff as well). But who knows what the future will have in store??? [}:D]
I own two. I have a post ban Bushmaster Shorty carbine, and a preban Oly Arms Shorty. I am looking at building one for myself, just for the fun of it.
Kuiper, i see you also like Bushmasters. Hurray for BM M4A3s i say. With 14,5" barrels, telestocks, bayonet mounts and all of the other "evil" features.
I own one...a Bushmaster 16" and have another one in the LEGP on the way.

I own a couple of pre-ban olympic arms, an Ultramatch with an ACOG scope mounted on it and a commando. Thinking about ordering a Bushmaster "streched" M4 upper so I have a chromed barrel and bolt, just in case.
I have always been pretty satisfied with them, more accurate then I am and nice triggers, but everyone seems to talk them down. Am I that naive or is this brand name snobbery? |
