Okay, so I've got a small acne problem.  It's better since I did the Accutane regimine, so I'm just using like a maintenance cream when needed.  No biggie, but I ran out of the cream a while back and have been forgetting to call my dermatologist for a refill.

In the meantime, I found some small sample tubes of the same stuff in my bathroom vanity and used them.  Then those ran out.  I went looking in the drawer for more samples and found some little tubes of some stuff that I vaguely remembered getting from my doctor.  The expiration date hadn't passed yet, so I opened up one of the tubes and used it.

Although I remembered getting it from my doctor, I decided to check it out in the Physician's Desk Reference that we have at work.  So I came in today and looked it up.  It's called Spectazole.

And it's for athlete's foot.

And on top of all that, I finally called my doctor's office, and it turns out I had one refill left on my prescription, so I could've just called the drug store and gotten it refilled.

My wife damn near passed out from laughing, so I thought I'd share.

I thought it was going to be Vagisil or Proctogel or something. Nevertheless, funny.

If it would've been KY jelly, your "head" would have been lubricated real well!

Speaking of KY, I saw a TV commercial the other day for KY Heating Jelly.  Its supposed to cause a warming effect when applied and supposedly aids women in the arousal process.

My wife works in the garden department of Home Depot and coincidently carries the inventory of a small pharmacy in her "purse..."

At work the other day she was listening intently to a conversation while she pulled some sun screen from her purse and began rubbing it liberally on her face.  When she noticed the curious texture she looked at the tube, only to discover she had been rubbing toothpaste on her face.

I bet you don't have a problem with itching and burning on your face anymore.

Toothpaste, Marvl?  That's fantastic.  Minty fresh cheeks!
