[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Road trip Ft.Knox Armor museum,what else in Ky.

We're taking a road trip to Ft.Knox to look at the Armor museum.
Will probably stop by the US CAV store.
I haven't been there since 1986 when I was in the Army.
What else is there to see in the area?
Are there any good gunstores?

There is a bar somewhere around E-Town called The Rock Inn that made the best burgers I ever tasted. The last time I was there was 1973, I hear it's still goin'.

Hit Knob Creek while you are there. Even on normal weekends there is usually some Class 3, 50BMG, and god knows what else on the firing line. The shop isn't too bad either.

Pheonix Hill Tavern in Louisville and Deji Vu! I about lived at those two places while in the ARMY at Ft. Knox!
