Why put money into the pockets of that whining bitch? I'd rather not. I can't stand his music. It's not that I'm narrow minded. My wife listens to some rap therefor I listen to some rap too. Hell, I like some of it.... But I hate Eminem

Not bad. Kim Basinger is TOTALLY miscast as his white-trash mother. MM does a fairly good job being himself. Britney Murphy plays a very convincing skank. The rapping is mostly unintelligible - SURPRISE! [rolleyes] A lot of the dialogue is smothered by the background "music". But still a good movie. I'd give it three stars. The part where they rap to "Sweet Home Alabama" is pretty funny. |

I liked the way the movie ended, much grounded in reality.
I had no problem hearing what was being said and could understand most of the rapping. My stereo has 14 year old Fisher speakers attached to it and I had no problems. It wasn't a great movie and I doubt that I would buy the DVD but I didn't consider it a waste of $3.99. |

The movie was made well. I enjoyed it. It was almost too 'Artsi-Fartsie'. Not what you would expect. Anyone who gets into movies should watch it.

I think the movie was decent, but not what many people would expect. Some parts were pretty funny, and Mathers did a much better job of acting than most hip-hop stars do... I think the ending sucked.

I know I really enjoyed the movie, one of the best movies I've seen in the theater in a LOOOONG time. The ending just left to much to be wanted. Did this movie bring home any Oscars? |

Daughter just had to have it. So eventually I watched it.
Not a bad movie at all. Not great, but not bad. I would watch it again anytime. And yes, I hate (c)rap (can't really call it) music. |
