36% hillbilly, 100% cracker checking in. Old news on the Florida crocs. I remember about 25 years ago we were in the Saint Petersburg area on a mini vacation with our, then young, son. We had just bought him a little fishing pole and while walking towards the pier, saw a croc about 14' long sunbathing on the shore. We let the little guy 'fish' for a bit and at one point he dropped the pole into the water, which was maybe 15' deep. I could see the pole and was taking my wallet and keys out of my pockets in anticipation of diving in to recover the pole, 'cause I'm a cheap sob.

About this time I remembered the croc and looked for it. The croc was nowhere to be seen. As far as I know that pole is still sitting in the water at the end of that pier.....'cause I'm not 'that' crazy.

Very carefully.

South Florida has native crocodiles also.

Don't be too hard on the Penguin, that's his molting period. I feel bad because he has to remain in that shoe for two weeks.

I would pay somebody to photo chop Aimless' ( Opus ) head on that.

There used to be about a 10 footer that hung out at the intake at Turkey Point. It used to spend a lot of time on the bank watching us watching it.

They do ok together. They have been together for millions of years.

Crocs and Gators live side by  side in some areas. Flamingo boat ramps you will see both in the same water.

Oh bull sh*t.  The damned salt water crocs have always been down there.  Around the 10,000 islands was where most of them hung out.  The grown ones are kind of scary if you were young and in a small boat because they're over 15 feet long.  I'm talking early 50's when I first saw them.
