1) Because there were so many sick fucks killing animals just for the joy of it, and passing that on to their offspring, the law became needed to protect the animals from cruelty.

2)Now that serial killers have been around long enough to study. We have found that they , (many of them), had a penchant for animal torture, and killing when they were young. This history is present in other violent criminal behavior, later exhibited as adults, towards HUMANS.

I wonder what the response would be here, if this were a 3-4 month old puppy?? Hmmmmmmm??
BTW, he would face the same charges if it were a puppy. That'd be ok??[:D]
