Havn't seen the video, but an excellent reference for PT is "Navy Seal Physical Fitness" by Pat Deuster. My library had a copy and I ended up buying one myself. It covers running to weights to some great calisthenics. Most of which you can do at home. It's 100 times better than our army manual.
