Cool huh-Civilians sending equipment to the mighty the U.S. Army. From a previous post somewhere, SSG Thayer said that he would be back state-side in 6 months. The thread was back in Feb, so he "should" be back around sometime in August.

that's pretty cool. did you pick the date, or did it coincidentally happen to land there? are you gonna be a BT youngin' or an old fart? (still a teenager, or are you in your 20s (30s?)?) FYI, next time call him "Sergeant" ... NCOs don't like being called "Sir". They seem to think it's degrading [:D]

Sorry about that ! At least I didn't send out some of those "New Jersey Special Cop-Killer Hollowpoints". [;)] BTW: How did the Militec-1 hold up? I'm curious to see how much dirt/grit/sand it attracted vs. CLP. AND... is there anything else that we should send out? (I found a few dozen more zip disks in my desk and have a bunch of porn DVD's ready to go) Stay Safe and THANKS for your service !!!

The miltech is good. The dust is so bad here we only use small amounts of oil in the bolt so I cant really say if is attracts more or less dust than clp. Of course we cant have porn but feel free to send us as many Ronald Reagan disks as you like. Thanks SSG Tharpe
