I don't know if any body cares but a few hundred pages back I asked a question about getting a 4"-5" EDC that's under $50 for throw away duty. I got some recommendations and such and finally went with a s&w border Guard 10.1" overall and 4.4" blade. for $25 and free shipping. Yes that's right, $25.
Non affiliated link to Amazon knife page If any one else needs a super cheap throw away knife for occasional use I would say try this. It's got an aluminum handle and a rope or seat belt cutter. I needed something with a large blade that folds up and is cheap enough that I can break it or lose it and not care. also needed to have a large handle that I can grip with heavy welding gloves on. This fits the bill quite nicely. The handle alone is over 5 inches long, nice big ass open spots for each finger to grip. I have massive hands, I use 3XL gloves, and even with gloves on I can grip this thing comfortably and open/close it. TLDR: If you need a big folding heavy duty knife for use with welding gloves that's dirt cheap this is it. If I use it once or twice and break or lose it I don't care it's only $25. I don't know where it's made. I assume that means china. But again, for $25 I don't care where it's made. |

Between Sherman and Lisbon.
Rent is probably cheap. Or low purchase price. When you have a name you can charge what you want I guess. I wouldn't pay that either though. |
