I have not held a 2.0, I didn't realize the grip changed. I would seek one out to hold, if prices and availability weren't so crazy right now.

Besides, I just got two Strike80 frames delivered today, so I'm going to be pretty stocked up on pistols by the time I finish building out all of these that I've bought in the past couple of months. I'm thinking I'll finish the subcompact and one Strike80, then hold off on the other three P80s and hope parts prices come back down at some point.

Carhartt must make some really tough jeans. I've been wearing the same ones for close to 10 years and I've never worn a pocket out and there's never not a knife clipped in.

Now that you say that, I've had it with sunflower seeds, too. Pecans sounds really good, though. Or slivered almonds. I think I'm going to have to make some one of these days now.

Wise move. Something that's actually built to do real work, instead of just look pretty in your Instagram posts.

Without a doubt. They're just going to waste even more taxpayer money trying to keep them FMC.

I think the ergos are the same if not very close, but the texturing is spot on. I hate that they "fixed" the auto load "feature". Used to be able to slam a mag home and it would drop the slide and chamber a round. They added a detent of some kind to keep it from doing that. And they added a fence around the lever that makes it harder to release, but I've always been one to pull the slide back and let it fly home.

It is slicey. One of my favorites for stripping cable jackets. I always carry it if I know I'm going to be doing that kind of work. I wish they would make a 3.5" or larger version though.

It's much smaller than I expected. I didn't read the specs all that closely. I came close to buying one on black friday or on some other sale and kept regretting it so I finally just had enough and said screw it.

Edit: definitely not as nicely finished as the Ritter knife. That's the only Hogue I've had so I was expecting similar quality. It's not bad, but it's a bit disappointing in comparison, and IMO not nearly as great a value.

If there is something you want, and you have someone local it can be transferred in to, my FFL seems to get preferential treatment from distributors. He can order and redirect.

I don't know about the M&P series, but on the Shield, it made a big difference.

Something triggered a memory the other day of something "fashionable" back in my HS days. I had a pair of purple corduroy pants. And I wore them on the first date with one of my gfs.

Weeeellllll...

I am not a fan of the blade. No secret there. Or the length.

The scales look a bit...what's the word...we'll just say nasty and in poor taste.

But the worst part is the picture itself. Where you drinking heavily before the pic? Couldn't find something to focus on? OK, just clicked on the pic and it resized and brought it more into focus. May have just been too big.

FWIW my daughter is standing here looking over my shoulder and said, hey, that's a cool knife. Keep in mind she is 5 and thinks Elsa is better than Anna, so she doesn't always say the most rational things.

She also just saw MaxxII's avatar and said, ewww, I don't like the angry monkey, so she is a good judge of things sometimes.

Knew the first thing. Length I'm not so sure on either, it's smaller than I expected something a little bigger, even if only a bit.

The scales I go back and forth on. Not sure.

Was drinking some rotgut rye whiskey from Wisconsin, of all places.

I have a lightweight in M390. I like it but prefer a bigger blade.

Honestly, branch out and try some other brands.

The PM2 is probably my favorite knife but you're missing out on some other good stuff too.

I've tried quite a few brands and models but always end up back at a large sebenza or pm2 lol.

The only thing that pisses me off about my Spydies is the fact that you give up so much blade length vs a comparable sized knife.
The Shaman is the worst for that. Huge knife, with less than 3" of cutting edge.

That's about my only complaint of the pm2...or the only one that really matters.

A lot of blade is in the choil..and that stupid nub area that makes it impossible to completely sharpen the blade on a wicked edge

Yep. I have the same complaint with the WE. I bought a KME as it's much better for the Spydies.

Kinda different but still cool in its own right. The blade reminds me of the GTC/ZT and the scales have a depth to them that's interesting
