I think the ergos are the same if not very close, but the texturing is spot on. I hate that they "fixed" the auto load "feature". Used to be able to slam a mag home and it would drop the slide and chamber a round. They added a detent of some kind to keep it from doing that. And they added a fence around the lever that makes it harder to release, but I've always been one to pull the slide back and let it fly home. |

I came close to buying one on black friday or on some other sale and kept regretting it so I finally just had enough and said screw it. Edit: definitely not as nicely finished as the Ritter knife. That's the only Hogue I've had so I was expecting similar quality. It's not bad, but it's a bit disappointing in comparison, and IMO not nearly as great a value. |

Weeeellllll...
I am not a fan of the blade. No secret there. Or the length. The scales look a bit...what's the word...we'll just say nasty and in poor taste. FWIW my daughter is standing here looking over my shoulder and said, hey, that's a cool knife. Keep in mind she is 5 and thinks Elsa is better than Anna, so she doesn't always say the most rational things. She also just saw MaxxII's avatar and said, ewww, I don't like the angry monkey, so she is a good judge of things sometimes. |

Length I'm not so sure on either, it's smaller than I expected something a little bigger, even if only a bit. The scales I go back and forth on. Not sure. Was drinking some rotgut rye whiskey from Wisconsin, of all places. Your daughter sounds like a smart girl. Must take after her mom. |
