Even if the gas tube sheared off wouldn't the rifle still fire one shot at a time? Why didnt it fire each time he pulled the trigger?

Did it came loose at the gas block area or did it fracture/explode? The only other evident source of gas tube failure was from the M4A1 test where the gas tube fractured after 910rds of continuous fire without stopping. |

Dammit! I just ordered one of these on Friday. (They were on sale and I figured "why not?")
I can already see this "sale" is going to turn into a dedicated bump upper/rifle in no time flat. Yeah, yeah, I know. It's not exactly a bad "problem" to have....

Another poster mentioned killing gas tubes with full auto. Is it a parts quality thing or just something to expect eventually no matter what brand gas tube you put in? |

Damn thing has an awesome ROF. It's faster than my registered receiver, though I've got a heavy buffer/spring in there to slow it down.

Why so many misfires or failures to eject? that isnt the problem, no misfires or fte. what it is, is that if your timing isnt right you can release the hammer before the bolt seats, so the hammer follows the bolt down, obviously not striking the firing pin with any force what so ever. just a thing we need to practice with. |
