as a grad of the u. of akron (after 7 years, they let me graduate only because i was just about ready to be vested in the pension fund, so they had to get rid of me some how) the vote is still 73%. GO OHIO!!!

I just voted,I also voted for Taft ,he promised us the CCW. I am in Cleveland now,a few blocks away from channel 5. I should go vote in person! Why are we voting for a protected right? Vote on!

I just moved back to Ohio from South Carolina. It was popular down there to have a CCW permit and I look forward to being afforded the same RIGHT here!

Voted. You notice that the article said that a poll showed most Ohioans are against carrying. What do they do, make up their own numbers? It's just like the polls showing such high numbers for Klinton. They either just ask those they know will give the answer they want or they just make them up! Jerks.

Channel 5 said they would announce the numbers on the 11pm news, wanna bet they turn the numbers around to support their side?? I could'nt belive that guy from the FOP on the news, He said that any criminal could get a gun and carry (like they don't now) and the slant he was trying to put on was that LEO's don't want CCW's Hey, all of you LEO's why do you keep putting these jerks like this in charge if the FOP?

does he think a violent felon will be given CCW??????? Also I like the picture of the single-action revolver!!!! Are they trying to make some connection between CCW permits and the supposedly "lawless" days of the old west??????? [:(!] |

i don't know about the rest of ya, but i particularly liked the part where the article described those who carry as carrying in the POCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LMAO!!!!!! yeah, that's where i carry mine all the time. so's i can blows a hole in my thigh (or worse) when i try and pull it out. geesh. also did you notice the FOP guy said the bill didn't specifically state that the CCW was limited to law-abiding citizens. he was worried that criminals would now be allowed to carry concealed. first point: as if they don't already. second point: they don't ask for CCWs. third point: it's not like the cops would let him go because he had a CCW if he was committing a crime with the gun. again, geesh. |

Well, I watched the 11pm news last night to see what channel 5 would say, at 10:40pm the poll was running about 76% in FAVOR of ccw, Guess what, they did'nt even mention it!!! I guess after popping off about how most of the people of this state don't want ccw they did'nt have the guts to admit when they're wrong!! I'd like to see them go down to Cincinnati and try to sell that shit, What a bunch of morons!!!
