This is Nelson - we got him used.  He was a real snob.  We got rid of the trait pretty quick.  He'll even drink out of toilet now.....

Oh Yeah?  Can your Dog do THIS??? [:P] Notice how ambidextrous he is, on his side, on his back, with a toy or with an unsuspecting house guest...it doesn't matter....his technique is extra ordinary...and his concentration is second to none!  Thats my BOY![:D]

Just a thought, but you might want to switch her to a low fat dog food and cut all the pizza and french fries out of her diet. She wont last another 2 years being that over weight.

Love them spoiled Rottenweiler pictures.  Had to have mine put down last spring due to a tumor.  Twelve years old and he listened better than the kids or wife and was way better company than most people.

Here's my boy, Loki.  He's primarily American Pit Bull Terrier, but he almost certainly has some lab in him, mabey a grand mother or grand father.

He really lives up to his name, the old Norse god of mischief!  [>]:)]

We got him at 8 weeks old on January 8th of last year, and he weighed in at about 7.5 lbs.  He is now 70 pounds and it's all muscle.

He doesn't do well with large groups of other dogs, but he loves people.  He is extremely protective of my wife, however.  He thought the painters were trying to steal our house today...... [X]

Cool dogs Styer.  Have you taught them the trick from James Bond where he throws a biscut in their mouths and they catch it but don't eat it till he nods.  Wish I could teach my beast that.

Anyhew, here is the baby which is joining our family in a couple of weeks:

Falcon-  She is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog.  The one in the bottom picture is the same one in the snow on page one.

Luckily my wife forgot about the first one's puppyhood or we would not be getting another. [;)]

Actually this breed was known in Switzerland as the "poor man's horse".  [:)]

For those wondering what it is, go see the movie "Turner and Hooch" with Tom Hanks.

Boy can these dogs snore.

Big Z-  I am very sorry to hear that.  I had to put two pets down last year.  One was my wife's rat who I really grew attached to while she was working overseas (hence the name).  I was a wreck for quite a while.  [:(]

ITB-  Our girl lost in a show to a dog named Ruger.  The whole litter had firearm names.  I think they were out of AZ.  Go figure.  I know one of the littermates names was Gaston.

Cyberian-  My sister was babysitting for us (yes, most spoiled dog in the world) and called us up on our honeymoon laughing hysterically at how loud the girl snores.  When I go to bed the wife and her are often snoring in unison. [:P]

Falcon-  We are actually wondering if we are nuts having two of these beasts but we have friends with more.  And yes, our girl is very jealous, almost comically so, but I think she will like having a friend and if not will just have to deal.  She is still just a dog. (the most spoiled dog in the world, of course)
