Fellows, I am new to these wonderful firearms and am desperate to get going - I have about 800/900 green ones - now what do I buy? It looks like there are tons of armories out there - I want a carbine - a decent and reliable shooter - is there one company that makes the best? Sorry if this is going to cause some debate!!!! Cheers H

limey68,
Check around. Armalite, Bushmaster, Colt, etc.
But the best deal out there is the AR15.com LEGP!
And you'll have cash left over to buy ammunition and accessories.

The Cavalry Arms rifles do look pretty cool. If you bought a LEGP carbine and a Cav Arms lower it's only $945.00. That's what I would do.

   If I could.

   Stupid CA laws.

Should I mention that if a few more AR15.com Cav. Arms lowers* are purchased with LEGP rifle there will be a drawing for a complete CAV-15?

* Different than the LEGP rifle, find the details in the link posted above.

Bushmaster. Not saying the other ones suck, but you won't go wrong with a Bushy.

For that price range your best bet would be a Bushmaster.  Not trying to piss anyone off, that's just my opinion.www.bushmaster.com
