Usually a good vodka and tonic with lime. Magadanskaya if you've got it. I like it better than gin and tonic, although that's ok with me too.

Normally - Jack straight up with a beer chaser If I'm out to a nice place with the wife - Chevis or Black Label on the rocks No foo foo drinks for me..Although in my younger years I drank a lot of B52's, Kama Kazi's, Jack-n-Coke and Black Russians.. But now in my older years, I don't drink much at all because of diabetes and because when I get buzzed, I have a bad habit of talking too much or being a mean bastard...(NEVER to my woman, just guys)

I have to stick to Dr. Pepper or Coke. I walked down the liquor isle at the local grocery store and started getting the shakes. Figured it was time to quit at that point. Oh well, at least I know that I wont be smashing my car into a million pieces, like some of the drunks I know [:D]

As I get older I prefer dryer booze. Used to drink gin & tonic, now would only consider vodka & tonic or vodka martinis. Used to drink Canadian whisky on occasion, now only consider JB, JD, single malt scotch, or blended scotch. For beer, still prefer German or English. Microbrew next followed by the big domestics like Bud or Coors only if there's nothing around and I'm thirsty as hell.

10-X is on the right track...bourbon. Bourbon is good, and good for you. I'd have to take issue with Maker's though, there are much better bourbons out there. And no, good bourbons don't need water, ice, coke or anything like that; they need a good cigar. Elija Craig 18 year is wonderful, as is Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek, and Blantons. During work-hours I love Minute Maid LemonAid concentrate mixed up with ice. Jimno

WoooooHOOOOOOO 100 posts, I'll drink a bourbon to that. Jimno
