Unnatural and fatiging having all that weight flopping around up there, my off hand felt like atlas. Then I was like this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xq9sD6TD-NE/UeBlv93Nt6I/AAAAAAAABLY/EmHDrjWo-E4/s1600/005+(2560x1748).jpg still stuck on VFG b/c they are evil I guess And then I was like this: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_VZF0Hz02TT4/TLEsQoal3OI/AAAAAAAAASU/uxHOdd7P8tU/s1600/Jerry.jpg a big improvement in fatigue management and control but still a sort of twisting of the wrist that was fatiging. and now I am like this. https://d2444os31gbwts.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/question-time-9.jpg Actually now have my palm at like 10:30 on the tube, index finger extended, middle finger sort of extended mostly just grasping b/t thumb and pinky. Sooo comfortable. Problems is that i have to have an extra long hand guard b/c if my arm is not extended so that it and my hand are in a straight line, it is uncomfortable again. This shit is so ergonomic, it makes me want to toss my short SBRs in the garbage b/c if I can't reach out it just ain't right View Quote Oper8tr gotta oper8. |

Is this your throw away account Chris? Because I'm pretty sure none of those guys are the same guy.

On the last picture there's a piece of that dudes rifle and arm missing.
I just slap the top of the rifle really hard every time I pull the trigger..
Asserts dominance.. Then I pee on it when it's hot.. |
Won't your thumb get in the way of all your optics??
Sounds like a job for the Beowulf X!!!! |

I would do what this guys does. I do if I only have 12" to hold on to. |

OP,
let me see you do that on a carbine. you must have extra short arms. ETa. I guess I type slow |

I usually grasp the flash hider between my index finger and thumb, like you're handing someone a pencil.

I'm thinking that if you think that option 4 is less tiring than option 1, you may have fallen victim to a post-hypnotic suggestion. Possibly in a DVD or YouTube video which you watched.

The last position would hurt my wrist. I don't see how it wouldn't hurt everyones wrist.

Do people really shoot like that with their arm stretched out like some fucking mall ninja operator tard?
Pic #2 here but with a middy so all my fingers wrapped under barrel with pinky resting against the front of the foregrip. (Or sometimes pinky below ring finger.)
I shoot like the last pic but I make sure my johnson is hanging to the right to counterbalance my opperator stance.
The next step is to reverse-grip it. Put your fingers on top, and your thumb on the bottom.

I've never been able to tell what value extending your weak hand as far from you as possible has. You're weaker when you try to support things further from your body.

View Quote IMHO the professional trainers developed the technique to make regular shooting more ergonomic after getting tennis elbow then sold it as tacticool. I'm only half kidding. |

Operator as all hell! I am still a nub using a forward grip :( My arms and wrist do not seem to get tired, but I chalk that up to my chronic masturbating |

I'm sorry, but that method of holding a rifle espoused by Costa and his fans is stupid. I doesn't provide a stable shooting platform nor does it allow you to move fluidly in a dynamic environment. Furthermore, it opens up and exposes vital areas making you a bigger target.
Failsauce. |
