those were blanks, but, basically anything that is slightly over 3" that we can shove down the barrel. Gonna take it to where its safe before we put stuff in orbit...too many breakables around where we are. We have about 300 yards of open area..but there is a freeway past that, and houses about 300yards to the left. And it will go further than that.

Hey - That thing has a Politically Incorrect Flash Hider (OK - reducer)
When I lived in the PRK I fired my cousins 50 cal black powder canon (only once, powder only) on 7-4 the PD showed up to give me the full blown riot act. They wanted to seize the canon. I told them my cousin had allready left to drive back to the free zone of Colorado. |

i got an idea when u shoot something. get one of those bigtime stick smoke bombs u know the ones that are like 50,000 cubic feet of smoke, the onese that u start by pulling a rip cord. tie a string to the rip cord with a 15ft small twine rope and the other end to the muzzle break. Incase it in a simple 3" diameter sabot like device, roll tape, launch and watch the smoke trail go, then it will also mark the area it lands, believe me they last a long time, used them a couple times in paint ball. id love to see a video of that. and if ya want to go into the darkside, it wouldnt be to hard to make some kinda exploding shell for it. take a can on 3" inch diameter, fill with explosive/firework of choice, rig a simple battey and fuse(rocket model starting fuse is a good choice) and tie wires to fuse and a nail in top, attach a drag source to the bottom of can, nail out the top, will land nose down, pushes pin in, completing circut and KABOOM, remember this is simply an idea, i dont indorse said activity as it can lead to breaking laws and/or injury/death, thankyou :)

if anything it probly falls under potato gun class of toys.
it uses oxygen+acetylene. its a confetti cannon :D and, black powder cannons are legal in kali, and that is my next project. |

aha! this reminds me of my many potato gun builds... anyone else go down to the hardware shop and buy PVC, glue and a grill starter and build your own potato guns?
fun stuff....just remember to let the glue FULLY dry before using...."oops, oh well... those eyebrows will grow back anyway" |

I have a couple. A small 85 cubic incher, and a medium 226 cubic inch. The 226 is a fairly big boy. It stands about 5 3/4 feet tall, has a 40 inch barrel, and launches potatos outta sight. It features an egronomically correct trigger mechanism that facilitates shooting from the hip! [:D] |
