I grew-up there. Most of the adult entertainment is on the east side. Try PT's or Diamonds. One adimission will get you into both places. Be carefull and area is rough and the local LEO are ALWAYS watching for DUIs. If you are downtown try Lacledes (sp) Landing. Its a nightclub and restaurant district north of the Arch. If you like Thai food the best is the King and I on Grand Blvd. south of I-44.

I live a few hundred miles away go to a Cardinal game you won't regret it. The brewery tour is also a blast.

I hate to sound like a big girl, but if you're at all into this sort of thing - the ZOO in St. Louis is one of the finest in the world (and it's free). There's also a neat traveling Van Gogh and other impressionists exhibit (only appearing in Frankfurt and St. Louis) that might still be at the art musuem that's worth checking out.
There's a nice indoor range that rents guns (and may have started renting class 3- but I'm not sure about that) really close to Barnes Hospital - I assume you mean the Wash U. medical school. It's called "Bull's Eye". I think I've got the phone number - email me if you want me to find it for you. Of course you could also take the Anheause-Busch tour. How many chances do you have to see the world's largest brewery? |

The zoo is great and the statue of St. Louis himself in front of the art museum is a great peice of work. Last time I was at the museum there was a display of Knight's Armor. |

Thanks! We are taking a dept Crown Vic so we should shy away from the really rough areas I guess... I'd hate for the squad to get vandalized...
We're staying at The Station or some such, Union Station maybe? Supposed to be a real hub and a 5 star type place with many restaurants and bars and such. I hear all is a short cab ride away though...? I work for a mid-sized Sheriff's Department in South Alabama. We get mucho top notch training. Gonna be a looooong drive... Thanks again! |

Sweet! Made my last post after only the first reply...
So; see a game, hit the clubs, give $s to dancers, see the Zoo (I enjoy ALL wildlife!), get free beer at the Brewery and maybe rent a MP5??? That sounds like a week's worth! Have to go to the top of the Arch as well, eh? I would be hip with checking out a museum but my partner is not as cultured as I am... Ha! I've never been that far North in my life (sad eh?) so I am really looking forward to it! BTW, what kind of weather should we expect? Thanks a bunch guys! |

a range in Belleville, IL has an UZI for rent. the FA kind, of course.
definitely catch some blues while you're in St Louis. "BB's" has jazz or blues every night. Soulard area has some blues clubs, too. |

You can also rent full-auto at Bull's Eye Range in St. Louis, right off of I-64 King's Highway exit, on Manchester Road.

There are several good places to eat at Union Station. They even have a Hooters. You should take a cab over to the east side. They also have two or three casinos if you enjoy gambling.

Your guess is as good as mine on the weather. I could range from the freakishly late snowfall to 90 degrees. We've already had a day of 90 this year, but it may dip below freezing again this week.
Definitely check the weather channel before you go! |
