I dont post, I just lurk.
Aint it garand! I love it when ThinkTank gets his ass handed to him. Easy to tell when it happens. He just goes and sticks if fingers in his ears and sings "lalalallalala i cant hear you lalalalalalallalallalala." However, there is some GOOD debate going on in the "Gun Dungeon." There are some of the most staunch liberals there sticking up for the second with, in some cases, tens of thousands of posts under their belts. If you have the stomach for it, have a look. |

Man, you can tell that some of those idiots went to public school!
Faulty knowledge of the Constitution... Faulty knowledge of History... Atrocious spelling.... Lousy grammar.... Oh, yeah. Basic stupidity galore... Sorry. I was able to stay there only about five minutes. The intellectual vacuum at the site was threatening to lower my IQ to below an acceptable level. |

It's kinda funny. I learned about DU right here on AR15.com, and had to go over there to see what it was all about.
For some perverse reason, I actually enjoy debating RKBA with some of the people over there. I have even identified myself as an independent (which is true) but haven't been thrown off yet. I try to stay focused on presenting a cogent argument, instead of getting personal. Maybe that helps. Thinktank is a 20 year-old student, so it isn't too hard to understand why he is so extreme. |

That is really him, that is really CO!! Scary as it is the picture in my head thing matches the picture on that website. And WTF is the 'Size Acceptance Movement'? ................. Serious side, as someone that has gotten to 1K+ posts 2 times now and on my way back up slowly, after a certain point they will jsut axe you no matter how well behaved you are if you stay in the dungeon too much. |

As my wife would put it (who is no waif herself) - "Oh, Size Acceptance Movement - must be some group of ugly fat men and women who want everyone to feel sorry for them because they can't accept the fact, like I do, that they're fat. So they have to impose legislation and guilt on everyone instead of just either accepting the fact they are fat or dieting and excercising until they aren't fat." Incredible - but I guess that's the way that liberals think - they'll MAKE you accept all of their foibles and indiscretions whether you like it or not. |

Now I have a face to put to the name. I've always liked CO. He seems to be a decent guy. A little afraid of firearms that go bump in the night, but still a semi level-headed person. Now, I'd like to see a picture of Thinktank and of Acerbic the Bitter. |

His problem is that in alot of areas he actually AGREEs with the nra. Or rather has come to accept the NRA's postion on the issue, but he is stuck in the 'I hate them mode' and cant stand the fact that he agrees with them.
He has been busted several times by people for either saying something that could be directly from the NRA website. Or like when somebody posted the project exile info and he agreed with it UNTIL he found out it was from the NRA. Can you say BUSTED! |

I don't like doing stuff like that to CO. To StinkTank, sure. Someone has to break through to this guy, though. He's soooooo on the fence.
I really like when we get good thread where we have common ground, like the one about keeping guns out of the hands of criminals. Course, someone always has to come by and queer it up with insults (ahem... acerbic/Stinktank). |
