I was just looking at the map to see how many states surround Illinois, I counted five, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin. Does anyone know if five is the largest number of bordering states, just curious? I'm listening to Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas Live album as I type this, absolutely beautiful, thanks Rush. Even the cockatiel loves it. hehehe

5? nope... 6? nope... try 8, and two states tie for that.

What is the Northernmost state? What is the Easternmost state? What is the Westernmost state? What is the Southernmost state? Which states have no straight borders? Which states have only straight borders?

Yup. Any clue on the straight border states?

Utah has only straight borders, but that is about to be changed by Wendover, UT being swallowed by Wendover, NV.
