If 20,000 lumens describes the illumination, the question then becomes, how many decibels in the tonk?

So how many lumen is the point of a typical red laser?

Good question. I've only ever seen them measured in wavelength and watt output.

Here is the same light for $130.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/high-power-22000LM-18-x-Cree-XML-T6-Led-Flashlight-Torch-Lamp-for-5-x-32650/1557534167.html

I've found it listed in a few spots, and it's listed anywhere between 20k and 26k lumens.  Real world output is probably 50-60% of that, but would still be a fun toy

Enough that you'll most likely start to see the beam in the form of a white haze due to diffusion. There's so many photons that as they bump into each other on the way out of the point source that some of them end up bouncing backward toward the source.

It's a whole lot of bright.

without looking at it closely i would suspect that there would be a significant explosion risk with that much draw. probably best used with protected cells. I may be wrong but that much juice flowing through multiple 18650s makes me nervous.

Wow.  the 32650 cell x5.  30 amp / hours of power.

I have one of these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/FLASHLIGHT-LED-SKYRAY-8000Lm-5xCREE-XM-L-XML-T6-Camping-Torch-Light-18650-GRAY-/121237325651?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item1c3a4ec753

Have considered mounting it on my HD weapon, but there are too many mirrors in this house.

A great flashlight however.  The 4, 18650 cells will run it for almost an hour on high. It does get warm.

That thing takes 5 and lasts how many hours minutes seconds?
