A while back I found a tactical / web gear type website where the vendor was selling 2 sizes ( 500 rds or 1000 rds ) heavy duty canvas bags for toting a bunch of ammo to the range. It seemed to be the heavy duty canvas version of a .50 cal ammo can and were also offered in a grey or khaki color. I believe they had a HD canvas carry handle sewed on.  I remember them being sold out at the time but they looked real handy vs the steel GI ones. Looked like a "rigger" type item. I've tried different searches on Google but can't seem to find them.

I am not familiar with them, but have an alternative.   I buy the Craftsman tool bags when they are on sale.   I think the last time I bought some they were $6.00 each.     I keep them full of ammo and mags.   They hold up and can been hauled around without damaging anything else.

Made hot. Interesting concept. I'd prefer if the bag's opening had better weather protection.
