Got a call from Crimestoppers soliciting a donation.  I thought I would have some fun and asked if the organization was involved or backed gun crime measures/gun control laws.  I stumped the poor guy and he stammered out a "I don't know..." if the org had a position or takes a position politically.  I told him to call back in a week.  On the surface, CS sounds like a decent org, but I wonder.  Anyone know?

My mother won a Benelli Nova 12ga shotgun in a CrimeStoppers raffle last month.  Every prize was a gun.  Of course this is a small county in Texas.
