Yes, McClintock cedes to Westly, an executive scum of eBay (if you ever worked there, you would understand). This makes it an official democratic sweep of all state-wide offices. :(!

Frightening, to say the least. Our only hope is Schwarzenneger at the helm in Sacramento in '06.

I'm sure when the "nationalize" all forms of production and private property you'll think otherwise.

I was born and raised in CA and nothing that they do surprises me. A little over two years ago the Dumbocraps took every state wide office. With there new found power a state assemblymen would introduce a new horrendous law and it would be voted on and passed, it would sail through the next house and be signed into law by the governor in time for lunch. Schwarzenneger, Cannot win the governorship. With his history of Drug use and smoking and drinking and womanizing and he is pro-abortion 10-15% of the political right in CA will not vote for him. I feel for you. My state is going to give yours a run for your money. Although we held on to some key republican seats in the state legislative we are spiraling into the dark abyss.

Exit poll show that Simon beat Davis 47-42. But the race was decided among women, who backed Davis 52-35. If the margin of support among women was narrower than in 1998, it was most likely because 11 percent of women voters couldn't bring themselves to vote for either candidate. Four years ago they favored Davis over Lungren 62-35. IOW 4 years ago 97% of women voted for major party candidates. This year they (like men) voted 89% for major parties for governor. I bet both parties are trying hard to find out what generated this change other than the unattractiveness of their candidates.

It is really going to be interesting around the PRK in the few years. It is estimated that we have a 23Billion budget deficit for the next fiscal year and for the next 5 years. The Dems have been giving away my money faster than I can earn it. T

I sure hope the Republicans in the state continously point out that the Democrats have full control of the state and running things the way they want to. They need to be given credit for everything they do...like power outages, rising crime, and sewers backing up.

The "Terminator" says that he is a social liberal. Not only is he pro abortion he is also for gun control and affirmative action. If he is the best the Republicans can come up with then all is lost.

CA has some stinky lawyers that are shaking down businesses like they are Jesse Jackson. www2.ocregister.com/ocrweb/ocr/article.do?id=11740§ion=NEWS&year=2002&month=11&day=15 These lawyers get their info from state websites that list investigations against small businesses like these nail salons. The law allows civil suits even if the investigation clears the salon or the salon complies with the terms of the investigators. Scumsuckers, they've done this to auto repair also.

I saw the writing on the wall back in 86'. (and it wasn't gang graffiti...) When the chance came in 88' I bailed out and sought refuge in the free zone. (chose Colorado) I consider myself a political refugee of the PRC. Among the things I left behind were any "Kalifornia" type attitudes.

You should use your states full name and not abbreviate it. It is Alta California. If anyone living there does not currntly know that, they will in about ten years.

Arnold smoked pot all through his weight lifting days. In fact, he's shown on a body building documentary smoking a joint and laughing his ass of. If he ever runs, that documentary will be replayed every day before the election. He reminds me of the guys on our high school wrestling team. They were always stoned.

The DemocRATs in this state pretty much won the reapportionment wars. In 1982 the state congressional and assembly districts looked like a bad Escher drawing. They lost most of the battles, but dragged it out in court for long enough that the real damage has been done. The DemocRATs whine about electon fraud, and then proceed to chop the district up with the most sinister gerrymandering plan imaginable. They are corrupt to the bone and there is nothing I can do about it except move.

You all will get your chance to experience what goes on in Kalifornia. This is the future you all are voting for when you pick "the lesser of 2 evils". WOO HOO!
