There are lots of "9mm carbines" out there, Sterling,  AR-15 pattern, KelTec, etc.

But a nice wood stocked carbine with common reliable magazines?   I'd like that.

The various plastic alternatives  might be "better", but there is a visceral feel to a solid wood stocked gun that makes one appealing.

Awesome! A synthetic bayonet mount!

If you're down to using the bayonet on your 9MM carbine, you're already way beyond fucked.

Still want one in 5.7 Johnson Spitfire-just because.

How many five seven rounds would fit in a magazine......

Probably the same number as 30 carbine rounds- the 5.7 Johnson is the 30 carbine necked down to .22- can push 40 grains up to around 3,000 fps.

How hard could it be to make it so it has swappable bottom metal and offer it in several magazine patterns?

It's not like the magazine is in the grip like a Kel Tec Sub 2K.
