The Exorcist and The Omen are two of the best. The first JAWS movie scared the crap out of me. And The Shining was pretty spooky. The first Friday The 13th was another...

... that's weird, mine too. EXORCIST First "R" rated movie I was allowed to see as a teenager. I wished I hadn't THE OMEN Funny thing there, the first time I saw this show was when cable was just coming out and the broadcasters fucked up and played the unedited version on TV. Needless to say the wife and I about shit when that guy did himself in. Runner up: TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE ... as teens we took some chicks to the drive in to cop a feel and we all ended up stone cold freaked out, no sex was had that night!

I'll second the vote for "Event Horizon."

The original "Alien." Man, that face-hugger freaked me out, and when it exploded from the guy's chest! I was so tense throughout that movie, my abdomen hurt the next day. Great flick!

Alien, definitely. Aliens was very nearly as scary but you had more of an idea what to expect with it...if you'd seen the first movie before, that is... Any taped interview with Janet Reno would be a contender, too! CJ

The "Exorcist" has got to be the most disturbing, scary movie. I still refuse to watch that movie alone at night, before I go to bed.Afraid I might wake up possesed ,tryin to stick a crucifix up may ass, puking pea soup and such. Aliens was a very tense movie. The thought of something growing inside you and eating its way threw your chest.....well....it doesn't get mush shittier than that.

My vote goes to The Shining, or the original Alien movie.

A movie called "Dont Be Afraid of the Dark" from the mid-1970's...pretty creepy.
