Neither of their websites says anything about the recent elections. They're usually so bold and outspoken. Where are they? Hello! HELLO!! Is this thing on??

Like most women, they need to think long and hard on a statement that justifies their position while putting you in your place. It won't be too long. Just long enough for you to forget what you were arguing about and why. [:D]

I was informed of this activity by Joe Waldron of Washington Arms Collectors (as well as other pro-gun orgs.) Here is an excerpt from the email... "Washington Ceasefire conducted a press conference outside Bull's Eye Shooters Supply this morning to announce their "Contract for a Safer Washington" for the 2003 legislative session. The "Contract" includes five measures that will be offered in Olympia in January (pre-filing begins in early December). The five measures are: 1. Ballistic fingerprinting -- a bill to require firearms sold by retail dealers (I don't know if it's just new guns or ALL firearms) to have a projectile and case to provide to the Washington State Patrol who will keep the ballistic imaging data base. 2. Gun show loophole -- at this time I don't know if this is a refiling of last year's HB 2202 or something new. It's probably the former. 3. Mental health and domestic violence record improvements and sharing. (ACLU will love this.) 4. Mandatory "crime gun" tracing -- again, if this is the same draft bill they were shopping around two years ago, it will require the state to maintain a list of these "crime guns," basically a gun ban wish list. 5. Enhanced penalties for firearm dealer violations (incredible, proposing a "solution" to a problem that hasn't even been defined yet -- no one knows yet how the Bushmaster got from Buls' Eye to John Muhammad, so how can you offer a solution to an unknown problem." So, I guess you could say they are in fine form here in the Pacific Northwest

HCI&VPC, is it just me or has anyone else noticed that they only have things to say about every 28 days?
