The strange thing is, I grew up as a kid thinking California and Australia were the last bastions of freedom in the world. Then came knowledge to the contrary.  Hopefully, Australia will sink, and Kalifornia will slide off into the sea. (after all decent humans go on "vacation" elsewhere!)
