Tonight's fights have been awesome! Fantastic finishes all night, the only decisions that I question were the WMMA fight and Boetsch winning...and iicked Tim. Hope the rest of the night stacks up!

We should start an Arfcom League for UFC.

It has been a while since an event really excited me on paper like this one. I am glad it is living up to my expectations so far.

Of course posting this means all of the remaining fights will end up as stinkers.

Haha, the main event should be fantastic no matter what the end is, but I can relate to your feelings.

Skill > heart, but I have been a fan of Diego since 05'. I don't have the knowledge to say it, but Diego should focus more on skill than just "hard work". Diego has been passed by the sport...and so has Roy. Something we will see in the next fight.

You could very well be correct about Roy, though I am not convinced. You are entirely correct about Diego.

Roy has been greatly benefitted by being in the least talented division of HW, but he will never touch a championship belt. Too many weaknesses, cardio, ability to submit from botttom, ability to secure takedowns himself, etc.He just lacks too much.

Hmm... Best HW division ever.

Known for excellent cardio.

Elite level grappler.

Takedown weakness....yes.

Cormier doesn't want to stand in front on Roy for too long.
Roy will eat those shots all day just to land one of his own.

So do you pick Roy to win?

Just asking, becaus he has very little to offer to Dan beyond KO power. Which has not worked against REAL competition yet.

I disagree I thought it was entertaining.
Roy is such a tough out for ANYBODY. He is one of those guys that it is better to beat any way possible.
HE ate full power, non-stop, uppercuts and every other power punch that can be thrown from JDS for 3 straight rounds.
With his power and ground game survive and move on is a WISE game plan.

Not sure about either of those predictions.

Jones is too long and lanky for DC. Jones is a good wrestler too.

Btw I hate JJ.
