A thread a week or so ago gave me the idea for this - what guns do the anti's think are ok? When you go down the list, there's something they don't like about every one of them. This is the result:

If you have any suggestions / feedback, let me know.

You forgot "Too inexpensive...Saturday Night Specials".

Not needed though, your point was made just fine.
Good stuff as usual, Bastiat!

Don't be too sure about that. Once I rebuild my studio, I'll be adding improved soundtracks to all of them and burning them to video CD's. Then they can be played on public access cable nationwide - for free. Just need local residents to request airtime.

And If I can get some money together, I just might buy some cheap commercial time and run 'em myself.

Excellent! That would make a great TV spot. The only suggestion(s) I have is to replace the A-1 with a varminter or competion type AR (the graphic you used is too 'Vietnam').
For the "Too accurate" maybe something like a scoped hunting rifle (scopes = snipers). The "Saturday Night Special" suggestion is a tough one. Maybe a 'Liberator' pistol but, outside of us "gun nuts" [:D], very few people would get the connection.
Other than that, the presentation and message is
right on!

I have a friend who does the advertising slots on several networks down the road from me in Manhattan. Some of their airtime is rediculously cheap late at night. 30 seconds for $30-60.00. I am planning to make some ads concerning driving habits in CT etc and have them aired if they can get past the censor. Email me and I will direct you to her email address. They will take them on beta format or on CD, and she is as pro freedom as anyone I have ever met.

How about a Hi-Point pistol? You can't get much cheaper than that , and yet they're still generally regarded to be safe and reliable —

Doublefeed, I'll send you the check after I deduct my design fees [:D]

I think I actually had this on my (big disorganized) list of future projects several months ago. Your post did help jog my memmory, though.

Excellent stuff.  I especially like the precussion rifle part.  It really drives home the point that an anti will always come up with a reason to ban any firearm.

My only complaint is that I hate birdcages on A1 uppers.  Go 3 prong!

Beautiful.

Had to point that out to a colleague who is "supporting" an ANTI because of his pro-labor position.

He didn't understand "the reason the hunters(law abiding shooters) fear gun-control legislation" is because we're the only one's obeying the laws.

Just gotta keep the faith.

Out-freaking-standing!

I would change the "too accurate" rifle to a scoped hunting rifle, and you've GOT to add a "saturday-nite special."  A .38 Special S&W maybe?  They turn up the most in traces.

I guess I am going to be the first one on this thread to make a NEGATIVE comment about it:

"WHY HAVENT I SEEN IT ON TV YET???????"

Sell it baby!!! I LOVE IT! GREAT work!

You said, what we all have been thinking.

Don't have any pics of scoped rifles in my clipart collection, so the bolt action will have to do.

As for the saturday night special, I thought about it, but I have to balance content with the amount of time it runs. Since I'm hoping to open the minds of non-gunowners, I have to cater to the non-passionate, who may not sit through a movie that's too long. Dealing with short attention spans sucks, but if I don't recognize that people can lose interest, the movies lose their effectiveness.

Very Professional.  Great Job.  I would love to see that on Cable Access 11 in Phoenix.

Let me know when you have the CDs available.

I would gladly pay to have one, just to try and get it on the air.
