On the way home from work this morning I noted that gas in Tonopah Nevada was at 204.9 at the Texaco.
How about in your neck of the woods?
It'll get up to 280.9 here this summer.

Northern Virginia.

1.59-1.61 for Regular Unleaded.

If I drive 10 miles south to Woodbridge, it was 1.44 today.  So, I take my jeep, load up 2 5 gallon gas cans and fillup my 20 gallon tank and the extra 10 gallons.  Its getting that bad.

BTW, my jeep gets about 13 mpg and my mustang a little better at 15-16.

I filled up Sunday morning in Pahrump, NV, with regular unleaded for $1.569/gallon. Baker, CA, was $2.049.

In Los Alamitos, CA, the next day it was $1.579/gallon, but most stations in the northern Orange County region seem to run around $1.60-1.70.

'Fraid it's going to be $2.00/gallon by summer this year for sure. Petrol companies are squeezing us bad, but it'll get worse. They claim it's because CARB mandates cleaner-burning gas in SoCal. [:(!]

It hovers arounf $6.00 a gallon in these parts. The Aafes pumps charge just under 2 bucks. If I was a local, I would consider the gas access to be the best perk of working on post - though admittedly I don't know even who is allowed that rate. Military is - but we don't have privately owned cars. Work cars get filled up at taxpayers expense.
