Nice work!

Clean it, lube it up, set and confirm your zero, and fire for effect!

It is my duty to inform you that I was instructed to report you to the feds because you own a .223 rifle. My instructions, which I recieved last night from my personal idol John Walsh and Americas Most Wanted are very clear.... Congrats ivanhoe, that's a great choice for a first AR15, and we all love our evil rifles.

I'm still waiting for me buttstock parts and rear site for my first ar-15. its a flat top 20 with 1/9 twist made by fullton armory. Still cant shoot it yet cuz I didn't order all the parts. I do however have a daewoo k1a1 but I don't consider it a evil black rifle.

Congratulations!

Ahh, I remember the day I first bought my AR-15 (which is also a Bushy 14.5" AK).  Couldn't wait to fire it.  I spent hours taking it apart, learning all the parts, figuring out how it worked, etc.  It was so exciting (and still is).  I had never owned, nor fired, a gun before.  But I wasn't able to use it for two months because the guy I gave my application to at the gun club lost it and I had to give him another one, and they only accepted new members every month.

That was only five and a half months ago.  Now I have that, a Savage bolt-action .308, a Westernfield 12-gauge shotgun, and hopefully next Monday I'll have an SAR-1.  Once I turn 21 I will probably buy a 9mm pistol and get a CCW license.

Guns:  The one thing that's OK to be addicted to

Congrats and welcome into the light!  One piece of advice... take 3 times as much ammo as you think you could possibly shoot, cuz if you don't, you'll be out before you know it!!

Welcome to the club. I just my first a few weeks ago and have been having a blast eating through boxes of ammo and destroying paper. Just found out today my 9mm upper will be on the way soon. I'll finally have both a SUR and subgun.
