Thought I’d share something nice. Yesterday, to get my rapid result Covid test, I called one of those IV places that comes out to your house and connects you to an IV drip full of vitamins if your hungover, sick, dehydrated or whatever. I figured $150 for the test would be worth it to get it done quickly and not have to wait in line etc.
So the guy comes over, we are chatting and he is looking at my name and some of the memorabilia we have in our house. He asks if I’m related to Cheif DBrad197. I say “yep he was my Dad”. So he gives me the typical condolences and then we talked about a couple of mutual acquaintances. At the end, he takes out his own debit card and swipes his square reader and pays for my test. People can be insanely kind to strangers. |

I think I already mention this but when me and my bro divided up my dads guns I gave him the lions share. I just took stuff that had real meaning to me.
One of the things I got was his very first carry pistol that he got when we moved from commiefornia here to AZ. It’s a Ruger P95dc. I have his original IWB leather holster and 2 mags for it. You guys have any experience with these? I know his has been flawless for him but any wierd quirks or parts I need to look at replacing after what I assume is maybe 3k rounds fired through it? |

In my case i think im just so used to having orthopedic pain all the time, so being sick i just am extension of being uncomfortable so I can keep doing some things. I stay home so not to get others sick or so I wont poop my pants or vomit in front of a crowd of people. Home is nice and private for those things. Now if im sick enough that my wife needs to help she always knocks me out with meds. Like literally "take these honey" and I wake the next day or so. She hates when i walk around the house while im sick. I guess i can be a little cranky too. |
